  1.   4. Location of Data Processing Data processing related to web services of these SITES (hosted on servers connected to the network) occurs at the headquarters of THE DATA CONTROLLER and is managed by authorized personnel or those responsible for maintenance. Data from site navigation is not disclosed to third parties unrelated to performing, managing, or controlling the SITES’ functions.

  5. Data Processing Method Data processing is conducted both automatically and manually by assigned staff within the constraints of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, Article 11, performing the operations specified in Art. 4(1)a). Adequate security measures are implemented to prevent data loss, unauthorized use, and illicit access, in line with obligatory safety standards.

  6. Types of Data Processed Navigation Data: During normal operation, the computer systems and software for the SITES gather certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This data category includes IP addresses, URI addresses of requested resources, time of request, method used to submit the request to the server, and more, which are used to get anonymous statistical information on SITES usage and to ensure their functionality. These data may be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes. Data Provided Voluntarily by Users: Sending e-mails to the addresses indicated on the SITES entails the acquisition of the sender’s address and any other personal data included, necessary to respond to requests.

  7. Optional Nature of Data Provision Apart from navigation data and cookies, providing personal data for requesting materials or accessing certain services is optional. However, failing to provide such data may render it impossible to fulfill the request.

  8. Username and Password For access to reserved sections of the SITES, it is the user's responsibility to maintain the confidentiality of their username and password and to inform THE DATA CONTROLLER immediately if they are used unauthorizedly.

  9. Cookies Cookies are small text files downloaded onto the user’s device upon visiting the SITES, which enable the SITES to recognize the user’s device and improve the browsing experience. They are categorized based on function and purpose into technical cookies, profiling cookies, and third-party cookies.

  10. Rights of Data Subjects Under Art. 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, individuals to whom the personal data refer have the right to confirm the existence of such data, receive information about the data, and demand its update, correction, or deletion.

  11. Changes to This Privacy Policy THE DATA CONTROLLER reserves the right to update this policy to adapt to new legislation or improve its provisions.
